Collaborative, Holistic Support
Colorado Birth and Wellness brings together both holistic care and midwifery services. Our care team shares one client chart so things that your acupuncturist works on are seen and shared with your midwife. Your team will all be on the same page so that you don’t have to tell your story or explain your needs over and over again. The team that you work with at the center will also be the team by your side when the time comes to deliver.
Lactation.
Our IBCLC certified lactation consultant has the expertise to guide you through this challenging time in a warm and compassionate manner knowing this period can be one of extreme vulnerability. Whether it's preparing for the birth of your baby, postnatal assistance or support returning to work we are here for all of your breastfeeding needs!
Chiropractic Care.
Chiropractic care has been shown to reduce the length of labor as well as help with common pain during pregnancy. In addition to the above, establishing pelvic balance and alignment is another reason to obtain chiropractic care during pregnancy. Our Chiropractor team is trained and experienced in working with the pregnant body. They can also treat your entire family.
Acupuncture.
Our acupuncture team specializes in fertility, prenatal and postnatal care. Acupuncture has been shown to help with morning sickness, acid reflux, heartburn, sciatica, breech presentations, delayed labor and helping with insufficient milk production. Acupuncture can also be used when not pregnant or trying to conceive as an excellent way to promote overall health.
Doula Services.
Colorado Birth and Wellness offers clients birthing at our birth centers a selection of birth support packages to provide empowering non-medical physical, emotional, and informational support before, during and immediately after the birth of your baby. Our experienced on-call staff are able to provide exceptional support at a price below the market-rate for an experienced private doula.
Birth Photography.
Colorado Birth and Wellness partners with Monet Nicole to offer birth photography and videography to birth center clients. Monet Nicole is one of the world’s leading birth photographers as well as the co-founder of Birth Becomes You. Well Person Care.
In addition to prenatal and birth care, we also offer gentle holistic well-person gynecology care with our family care team, including annual exams, birth control, STD testing, natural fertility, preconception counseling, and more. Our nurse practitioners are sensitive to your feelings, background, and needs, always striving to have your experience feel as comfortable and safe as possible.
