What do Doulas Do at our Denver Birth Center?

In honor of World Doula Week, we’re shedding light on the invaluable support, connection, and guidance doulas provide throughout your birthing journey.

At Colorado Birth & Wellness, you will connect 1:1 with each of our doulas through your pregnancy journey. Our doulas are your trusted companions, offering a wide range of services to empower and support you every step of the way. Here's a glimpse into what our doula team does to support your birthing journey!

Prenatal Support: Our doulas provide resources and education to answer your questions before birth and ensure you feel informed and empowered throughout your pregnancy.

On-Call Support: When you need us, simply call our doula on-call number. We're here to provide reassurance, guidance, and encouragement whenever you need it most.

Continuous Labor Support: During labor, our doulas will set the environment, facilitate your birth vision, work with your partner and/or birthing team to maintain a positive environment, and advocate for informed decision-making.

Transition of Care: If your birth situation changes, our doula services seamlessly transition to support you to at the hospital.

Post-Delivery Support: After your baby arrives, our team remains by your side for several hours to help with breastfeeding and newborn care.
